Retaining William Mooney was the best decision I could have made for my case. I’m from out of town and received a traffic citation in relation to a minor traffic accident. A finding of guilty on the citation would have very negatively affected my driving career and Mr. Mooney was able to get it reduced to a non-moving violation which, in my opinion, was the best scenario I could have hoped for. Mr. Mooney was very communicative as to what I was facing and what my chances of getting a finding other than not guilty were. Unfortunately this was the worst experience of my life with an attorney. I hate that I am even writing this but since he never refunded my money even after agreeing to on paper and will not contact me back i felt it was necessary to warn others of his practice and his lack of communication. I was able to meet him 1 time after he took my money, almost 4 weeks after. Then another 3 weeks after I fired him for a total of 20 min in which after agreeing to refund part of our money he took off 2 hours of fees for his 20 min of face to face meetings (not included in his time "working on my case". Very disappointed and will be reaching out to the bar association with my complaint and proof of fraud. So not hired Mr Mooney.
